    Students learn the coding used to identify and label medical conditions and procedures and how to use medical billing software.

    The Medical/Clinical Laboratory Assistant Program familiarizes students with, performance of “waived” laboratory procedures, EKG procedures blood collection procedures, equipment, collection and handling of specimens, safety and medical ethics, professionalism and anatomy/physiology, including medical terminology and training for Medical Manager, and prepare students for entry-level in-field employment.

    Our Nursing Assistant Program is a good fit for individuals who are interested in ensuring the health, comfort and safety of patients. Training includes patient care, anatomy, physiology, medical ethics, equipment, safety and emergency procedures such as CPR. Upon graduation, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be prepared to sit for the National Nurse Aid Assessment Program Exam.
  • Patient Care Technician (Diploma)
    Training covers primary hospital departments including pediatrics, intensive care, critical care and rehabilitation. The program also includes fundamentals of anatomy, physiology, medical ethics, equipment and safety. Students graduate with a Certificate of Completion and are ready to begin a medical career as a PCT in pre or post-operative care, pediatrics. or even the Emergency Room!
  • Phlebotomy Technician (Diploma)
    The Phlebotomy Program provides training in all the skills required to function as a Phlebotomy Technician in a medical office, clinic, laboratory, or hospital. You will quickly become familiar with blood collection procedures, the utilization of standard phlebotomy equipment, safety and medical ethics, and related medical terminology. The program includes a supervised internship at a local healthcare facility. Upon completion graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be qualified to take the A.M.T. National Phlebotomy examination.
